Tennis Ball Challenge at Jackson CASP

Jackson CASP staff gave their students a fun challenge! Students were divided into groups and given a bag of supplies. The assignment was to use the supplies to support a tennis ball at least 10 cm. off the ground. According to Katrina, the site director at Jackson, “the kids LOVED the activity”.

Activities like this give students the opportunity to use critical thinking and creative problem solving techniques. They also learn to work together to achieve a goal. And finally, they get the satisfaction of showing off their achievements! Thanks to the Jackson staff for coming up with creative and fun ways to help our CASP kiddos learn!
